 AnimHelp1.3 - AnimHelp is a shareware utility designed to help you use the
Mac to draw sprite-based animations. The utility came about because I am a
Mac and Super Nintendo game developer and the artists I work with find it
almost impossible to draw animating objects with applications like Painter,
Studio/32, Photoshop, etc. because none of them have any kind of animation
features. All you’ve got to do is copy each frame from your drawing program
and then select either Add, Replace, or Insert in AnimHelp to include the
frame in the current animation sequence. That’s all you really need to

stuff). Lets you create 8/16/ or 32 bit animations from any art program.

is VERY VERY SLOW (15 minutes on a Mac+) but if a 756K ATM cache WAS
specified the movie will play at a reasonable speed on subsquent plays.

compiles them in alpahnumeric order in a PICS file that can be imported
into an animation program such as MacroMedia Director. After the initial
screen, you will be presented with a standard save dialog asking you for
the name of the PICS file. Enter the name and click Save. Next you will be
presented with a standard open dialog. Select any PICT in the folder that
you want to compile and click OPEN. The program will proceed to save all of
the PICTS into the PICS file and return you to the finder. Double click on
the new PICS file and it will launch Macromind Director, where you may

 Slideshow II - This is a slim little utility that cycles through paint docs
in a selected folder. It has some special effects. I am posting this for
those of you who may have lost the use of SlideShow, or Carosel (two older
paint showers) when new systems and hardware forced them out. This one
works on the mid-range Macs, but NOT on the LCII. It is untested on the
Quadra family. I am also posting it in hopes that a programmer out there
will notice it and develop everyone a shareware utility for cycling COLOR
PICT files - without the need for an FPU - in slideshow, screen saver
fashion.

 Sparkle 2.02 - Sparkle plays MPEGs and QT movies and converts between them.
It is multifinder friendly and, with enough memory, will open multiple
documents at once. It is free. I ask only that you read the enclosed README

This is largely a bug fix and tweak release. Many bugs fixed. MPEGs created
may be 15 to 25% smaller. Slight performance improvements. Slightly lower
memory required to do things, and better handling of low memory situations.
Can open much longer MPEGs than before. Read the "What's New in 2.01"  for
the gory details. Requires System 7 or greater. QuickTime 1.6 or greater.
An 020 based mac or greater. Works best with Thread Manager installed.

Montana's Centennial celebration. I did this using MM Director, Swivel 3-D
and Photoshop. You'll need 8-bit color and a "pretty fast" Mac to view at
the ideal playback rate (I used a IIci w/cache to produce). This is a
self-playing Quickpics file when extracted....just double-click. Thought
some might like to see what can be accoCone with these programs.

myself) to convert "number of frames" to Time Code.  It will allow the user
to type in any two combinations of "first frame", "last frame", or "total
number of frames" and will return the third value. Option clicking on the
Total Frames field converts frames to time.

 WACO STANDOFF - This is quick virtual reality model of the Davidian complex
currently under seige by federal authorities in Waco Texas. It is a stand
alone application and requires no other software. The user may travel
anywhere they want in the model. There are only windows on the north side
of the complex. I have not seen the other sides on CNN on in the paper.
